Preparing for your appointment
So that we can examine you thoroughly and detect any eye conditions early, please bring your current glasses with you and do without contact lenses on the day of the examination. Please allow enough time. If an operation is planned, please remember to arrange for someone to accompany you home afterwards.
Aftercare and what to do afterwards
Rest is important after an operation. You will receive clear written instructions from us on what to do after the procedure. Follow-up appointments are an integral part of the treatment.

Frequently asked questions – clear answers
Consultations without an appointment – is that possible?
If you have acute symptoms such as a foreign body sensation, sudden loss of vision or another eye emergency, please call us directly. We will arrange a rapid assessment.
Is there parking?
Yes, parking is available at all locations.
Which health insurers do you accept?
Argus Augenklinik accepts all Swiss health insurers and supplementary insurance policies, as well as foreign insurers and self-payers.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Usually within one to five working days. In emergencies, we will treat you the same day.
Do I need a referral?
No – you can book an appointment with us directly. A referral from your GP is not necessary.
